Export of Jackfruit from Tripura to London, UK

BASIX Krishi has facilitated export of jackfruit from Agartala to London, UK.

This is first time jackfruit of Tripura is exported to London.

The procurement was done by our FPO promoted under MIDH scheme namely “Krishisanyoga Agro Producer Company Limited”.

The Export agency involved here is “Kiega Exims Pvt Ltd”.

APEDA has helped on certification and clearance at airport. Directorate of Horticulture & Soil Conservation has provided pass to our staffs to allow their travel during lockdown. With combine efforts of all stake holders, it was possible to send 1,200 kg of jackfruit to London on 20th May 2021.
